A Note to Diversity Visa Lottery 2012 Applicants

The results for green card lottery of 2011 were declared long ago and the luckiest people selected for a United States green card are notified via email. Those who were not so lucky must have tried their luck in 2012 diversity visa lottery program.

Like every year United States government invited the applications for diversity visa lottery program for the year 2012. The dates of applying to the green card lottery program were between October 5, 2010 to November 3, 2010 (as scheduled by United States Department of State).

The application process for Diversity Visa lottery is over. All the applicants must have followed the instructions given by the Department of State and waiting anxiously to know the status of their application. A majority of applicants must have started dreaming about life in America and settling there for better future prospects. However, it all depends upon the accuracy of their application form and later on their luck.

Department of State has clearly indicated the eligibility criteria and other conditions for qualifying to the green card lottery program for 2012. So, submission of green card application should not be a reason behind rejection of submitted application. Even if an application gets rejected then it must be due to faults on applicant’s part.

In order to avoid the rejection, people should have thought about taking services of immigration experts. Some of the reputed United States immigration agencies provide great assistance in green card lottery application. However, while selecting one such agency for assistance during application process, people should have to be very cautious, as it has been a subject of many scams. Even Department of State’s website warns applicant’s to stay away from false websites claiming them to be a government entity and promising a green card. Falling to them is nothing more than wastage of valuable money and time.

There are some agencies that have extreme expertise on issues related to immigration to United States and diversity visa lottery program. They clearly confirm that they are private entity and have no affiliation with government. They also never promise to provide a green card through the DV lottery program. They only claim 100% acceptance of the green card applications submitted after their guidance. So, if by any chance the application gets rejected, people should think over taking help from green card lottery experts.
